YourTown Health is pleased to announce that Marion “Gerald” Hood, M.D. is now seeing patients at YourTown Health Warm Springs Community Health Center, located at 3939 Whitehouse Parkway.

“I am very excited to welcome Dr. Hood to our staff,” said Jon W. Wollenzien, Jr., Chief Executive Officer for YourTown Health. “He provides a wealth of experience along with a strong passion for providing community-based care. I’m also happy to announce that, thanks to the addition of Dr. Hood, we will be able to see more patients and extend our hours. We will be open four days a week now, Monday through Thursday, to better serve our community.”

Dr. Hood is a board-certified physician with a medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his residency at St. Joseph Hospital, Chicago and has been practicing medicine for 49 years.

“I was impressed with the values of YourTown Health. I put my patients first and am happy to work with medical professionals who do the same. It is a pleasure to offer my skills to the residents of Warm Springs and the surrounding areas,” said Dr. Hood.

YourTown Health is a non-profit network of six community health centers serving the communities of Meriwether, Pike, Lamar, Caroll, Coweta and South Fulton counties for over 30 years.
