Customer Service Representative – Warm Springs, GA

YourTown Health is currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for the thriving family practice clinic in Warm Springs, GA . This position is responsible for scheduling and registering patients, determining sliding fee scale program eligibility, verifying patient information and ensuring a smooth patient flow at the clinic. Principle responsibilities include:

  • Answer phones promptly and courteously, route calls, and take messages.
  • Receive patients and make appointments.
  • Obtain and verify patient data including address, insurance coverage, employment status, etc. according to clinic procedures.
  • Maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic and ensure that patients are called in order.
  • Advise patients if there will be a delay in service and provide continual feedback to patient concerning appointment time.
  • Scan all required patient financial and clinical information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment for front office.
  • Responsible for collecting and balancing patient revenue each day.
  • Request health records from patients previous health care providers.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

  • 3+ years of customer service experience required.
  • 1+ years of experience working in an outpatient physician practice required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.

Front Office Dental Assistant – Palmetto, GA & Greenville, GA

YourTown Health in Palmetto, GA and Greenville, GA is seeking a bilingual Front Office Dental Assistant responsible for front office duties as well as assisting the dentist and back office staff in the practice of four-handed dentistry. This opportunity is part-time (3 days a week, 10 hour days). This opportunity will be in Palmetto, GA on Monday and in Greenville, GA on Tuesday and Wednesday. Principle responsibilities include:

  • Answer phones, receive clients, and make appointments.
  • Verify patient demographic information.
  • Maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
  • Present dental treatment plans to patients.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment for front office.
  • Collect all required patient revenue and balance all charges, payments and adjustments at the end of the day.
  • Assist in four-handed TEAM dentistry as needed.
  • Sterilize instruments during heavy patient flow.
  • Provide coverage for CSR’s & dental assistants as needed.
  • Oversee provider schedule including reminder calls.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Degree in Dental Assisting required

Experience

  • Must have 3+ years working experience in a field that requires continual customer contact
  • Must be professional and organized as well as have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish required
  • Knowledge of dental insurance preferred
  • Knowledge of dental terminology preferred

Dental Hygienist – Palmetto, GA

YourTown Health in Palmetto, Georgia is currently seeking a Dental Hygienist (RDH) responsible for performing advanced prophylactic and preventative dental procedures to all patients. They will work directly with the dentist and support staff to assure quality dental care to all patients regardless of the ability to pay. This opportunity is part-time (2 days a week with 10 hour days). Principle responsibilities include:

  • Perform oral prohylaxis.
  • Review patient’s medical and dental history.
  • Examine the teeth and surrounding tissues for evidence of plaque and periodontal disease and chart all findings.
  • Inspect the mouth and throat for evidence of disease.
  • Perform routine x-rays including taking quality digital dental radiographs and refer abnormalities to the dentist.
  • Prepare dental hygiene treatment plans and the sequence of appointments needed to complete treatment.
  • Perform deep sub-gingival scaling, root debridement, and curettage under local anesthesia.
  • Apply fluoride varnish and sealants as indicated.
  • Educate patients on the need for daily oral health and fluoride.
  • Community out-reach program involvement.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene Program required

Experience

  • Must have 2+ years of Dental Hygienist experience
  • Must have 3+ years working experience in a field that requires continual customer contact
  • Must be professional and organized as well as have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus but not required
