Certified Medical Assistant (Palmetto; Bilingual Required)
Make a difference in patients’ lives every day – one vital sign, one kind word, one helping hand at a time.
We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our care team. In this role, the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will be the first point of contact for patients, taking vital signs, recording medical history, medications, allergies, and entering the patient’s main concerns into the electronic health record. You’ll help get patients and exam rooms ready for the provider, assist during exams, and give injections such as immunizations and allergy shots as needed.
You will also perform EKGs and basic lab tests, handle triage calls, and provide health and disease education under provider supervision. Organization is key – you’ll track referrals and follow-ups, keep supplies and medications stocked and up to date, and make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
