A new walk-in clinic has opened its doors to meet the needs of the community in Palmetto. YourTown Health’s new Quick Care Clinic is open between 9am and 7pm Mondays, and 8am to 6pm Tuesday through Friday.  The cost for a visit is only $50, plus any lab or immunization costs. And it does exactly what the name says: Provide quick care for those unexpected situations such as…

  • Sore throat, cold and flu
  • Stomach pains, indigestion, diarrhea and vomiting
  • Lab work and screenings
  • Flu shots and other immunizations
  • And much more.

The Palmetto location has been completely transformed in the past year. After opening a new dental clinic last October, the old dental space was converted into the Quick Care Clinic. YourTown Health dentists are in the same building and a pharmacy is conveniently located right next door, so it’s easier than ever to receive quick, high-quality care in Palmetto.

“Quick Care is ready for any unexpected emergency your family may have,” said Jon W. Wollenzien, Jr., Chief Executive Officer.  “It’s so convenient, fast and cost-effective; no appointment is necessary. I think the community will really appreciate having our urgent care services so close by.”

YourTown Health is also proud to introduce the newest member of its Palmetto medical team, Bradley Gaydos. Brad is a family nurse practitioner who received his
undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Georgia. He completed his BSN and MSN at Emory University in 2015 where he was a Nurse Corps Scholar with the Health Resources and Services Administration and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Dedication and devotion to quality care is what makes Brad really stand out.

The Quick Care Clinic also accepts all insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and pre-approved sliding fee patients. (Patients are welcome to apply for our sliding fee scale by making an appointment in advance with a YourTown Health family practice physician. Once approved, the patient can use Quick Care any time.)

“With our status in the community health center program, we receive discounted prices on thousands of medications,” said Wollenzien. “All Quick Care patients can take advantage of the savings at YourTown Pharmacy.”

YourTown Health is a non-profit network of six community health centers serving the communities of Meriwether, Pike, Lamar, Carroll, Coweta and South Fulton counties for over 35 years.
