Non-profit organization promotes executive to lead medical efforts to further quality, accessible healthcare to those in need
YourTown Health, a non-profit network of seven Community Health Centers catering to areas in need, is appointing Dr. Tom Mayuga as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Mayuga will oversee and manage the full scope of medical and clinical aspects of the organization.

Dr. Mayuga is a board-certified family medicine physician known for his compassionate care and dedication to community health. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the Georgia Campus – Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (GA-PCOM) after completing his undergraduate studies in chemistry at Georgia Tech. Dr. Mayuga completed his residency in family medicine at Atlanta Medical Center and WellStar Douglas Hospital, where he developed a strong foundation in primary care and patient-centered practice.
Before joining YourTown Health full-time in 2023, Dr. Mayuga worked in private practice where he gained firsthand experience in managing both the clinical and operational aspects of outpatient care. His time in private practice helped shape his entrepreneurial spirit and broadened his appreciation for patient continuity and community-based medicine.
